CRACK INJECTIONS

Q. What are you doing different from other companies?

A. Nothing!! It all comes down to our resins. Most companies use epoxy, or urethanes. Our resins are
far superior, which is why we give a transferable warranty. We are that confident in our product.

Q. How do you know the resin is penetrating through the crack and all the way through the foundation wall?

A. Our resins are thinner than water, so if water is coming in through the crack, our resins will too no problem.

Q. I have a finished basement can I still do an internal repair?

A. Yes of course. An area of the drywall will have to be cut, and simply needs replacing afterward.

INTERIOR WEEPING TILE SYSTEM

Q. It sounds expensive, how much does a system cost?

A. The system is very cost effective, normally 1/3 of the price of an exterior system.

Q. Is it going to make a mess of my house?

A. Our technicians will seal vents, cover the floors, and machines are placed downstairs to remove as much concrete dust as possible. We try to make it as little intrusive as possible.

Q. Is the sump pump noisy?

A. No it is a submersible pump, and the sump basin comes with a bolt down lid, which makes it even quieter.

Q. What about the debris you remove from the basement?

A. It all gets taken away. We leave you with a clean basement, ready to renovate. We also renovate basements. We can handle your basement project from start to finish.

SUMP PUMP INSTALLATION & SERVICING

Q. Will the pump be able to handle the amount of water coming in?

A. We can decide on how big a pump you need when installing the system, but for residential cases, a 1/3 HP is normally enough. (Below is a guide of gallons per minute)
Based on a five-foot discharge:
• 1/3 HP – approximately 45 gallons per minute
– max. head 26 feet
• 1/2 HP – approximately 65 gallons per minute
– max. head 29 feet
• 3/4 HP – approximately 77 gallons per minute
– max. head 37 feet

Q. Does the pump come with a warranty?

A. There is a standard 2 year manufacturer warranty.

Q. what should I do if the basin gets debris in it?

A. Give us a call we will come out and service the pump and basin.

EXTERIOR WEEPING TILE SYSTEMS

Q. Do I have to replace the whole system?

A. We can carry out a camera inspection. This will help us determine the best course of action.

Q. How do I stop this from happening again?

A. When we install the system, we also install inspection ports at the surface, so we can access the weeping tile with cameras and also clean the tile with our jetter system. We don’t just install your system, we service them as well– we want you as a customer for life.

Q. What do I have to do?

A. Nothing. We deal with the project from start to finish.

DRAINAGE SYSTEMS

Q. Why is the water not draining around my property?

A. There are a number of factors to take into account, i.e. the water table, the soil (sand, clay), and the grade of the property. Any of these could be contributing to poor drainage. At the PH Group we have the answers to your problems.

Q. We only have septic tanks, where will the water go?

A. In many cases an Engineered well (dry well) can be installed to deal with the excess water. These are filled with stone and in many cases have to be passed by an engineer and the city.

WINDOW WELLS

Q. Do you have to dig up the window well?

A. This all depends on what we find. It may just be leaking from a foundation crack, and the repair can be carried out from the inside, which would mean no outside digging.
